Be a Volunteer
MDAS believes in partnering with individuals and corporations to enable people with Muscular Dystrophy and their families to integrate into society. You can gain an extremely rewarding experience when making a positive difference to our members’ lives.
Ad Hoc Volunteers play an important role in making our events a success. Volunteers help in various roles including pre-event support, logistics support, ushering, crowd controlling, flyers distribution, mascot, photographer, etc.
Enrichment (Bridge) Through enrichment sessions, volunteers share their knowledge, skills and interests with our beneficiaries to help them acquire new skills and hobbies such as computer usage, cooking, gardening, art & craft and music. In this way, our beneficiaries can spend time more meaningfully, thus enriching their lives.
Sports (Boccia and Power Soccer) MDAS strongly encourages our members to take on sports activities.
Support Services: Volunteers play an important role in assisting our staff in administrative work to help expedite the help and services provided for our patients.
